October is here, and Main Street is buzzing with fall fun! From our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat to tips on keeping your pets safe this Halloween, there's plenty to do. Is your pet already a senior...
A lot has changed since we first opened our doors. Today, our team is 52 strong: 4 owner veterinarians, 5 associate veterinarians, 18 veterinary technicians and assistants, 9 client service representatives, 7 pet care attendants, 4 groomers, 4 managers, and me, their hospital director.
Slowing down on walks, hesitating before jumping onto furniture, taking longer to get up, avoiding stairs, or suddenly choosing the floor instead of their favorite spot on the couch can all be subtle signs that something is uncomfortable....
The love we share with our pets does not end when we say goodbye, and neither does the place they hold in our hearts. Lights of Love was created as a way for our Main Street family to come together and celebrate the pets who have left their mark on our lives.

September is all about noticing the little things. Our pets may not be able to tell us when something doesn’t feel right, but they often show us in subtle ways. This month, we’re sharing what to watch for when it comes to pain, itching, and allergies, and small changes in your pet’s everyday habits that may be worth a closer look. Knowing what’s normal for your pet can help you recognize when something isn’t.
This month marks an exciting milestone for Main Street Veterinary Hospital. We are proud to announce that we are now AAHA Accredited! Along with sharing what that means for you and your pet, we're celebrating National Dog Day and offering a few reminders to help your pets stay safe during the hottest weeks of summer.

Summer is in full swing, bringing sunshine, celebrations, and more time spent outdoors with the pets we love. July is an exciting month, but it also comes with a few seasonal challenges, especially when it comes to loud noises like fireworks and summer storms.

As we head into June and warmer weather, we’re focused on keeping pets safe and comfortable, all summer long. This month, we’re excited to share a new option that expands after-hours care, along with seasonal safety reminders and grooming tips to help your pets thrive in the heat.

Happy May from all of us at Main Street! We’re excited to welcome Dr. Kaitlyn Johnson to the Main Street family, an incredible addition to our already amazing team of veterinarians. As we head deeper into spring, we’re embracing warmer weather, more time outdoors, and plenty of seasonal activity for both pets and their people. With Memorial Day right around the corner, we’re also sharing our holiday hours to help you plan ahead. This month, we’re focusing on preparing for summer boarding, staying aware of common bee stings and bug bites, and highlighting a special team experience that brought us closer to our local community.
