Board-Certified Cardiologist
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Erin McCarragher, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology), who now provides advanced outpatient cardiology services at Main Street Veterinary Hospital.
As a board-certified veterinary cardiologist, Dr. McCarragher works closely with your pet's primary veterinarian to diagnose, evaluate, and manage heart disease. By bringing specialty cardiology services directly to Main Street, your pet can receive advanced care in the familiar environment you already know and trust.
If your veterinarian recommends a cardiology consultation or echocardiogram, our team will provide an estimate and coordinate directly with Dr. McCarragher to schedule the first available appointment. Once a date and time have been confirmed, your pet's visit will be scheduled.
On the day of your appointment, your pet will be admitted to Main Street Veterinary Hospital, allowing them to remain in a familiar, low-stress environment.
A member of our medical team will check your pet in, review their history, and answer any questions you may have before the evaluation.
Dr. McCarragher will perform a comprehensive cardiac examination and echocardiogram, if indicated, and work closely with your Main Street veterinarian to develop the most appropriate treatment plan for your pet.
Following the consultation, Dr. McCarragher will provide a detailed report and recommendations to your Main Street veterinarian.
Your veterinarian will then contact you to review the findings, discuss any recommended treatment or medications, answer your questions, and outline the next steps in your pet's care.
