Kim B.
Practice Manager

Originally from New York, Kim earned her Bachelor's degree at Dowling College (where she studied secondary education and Liberal Arts). When she's not working, Kim enjoys yoga, painting (she recently picked up a paintbrush for the first time in 25 years and fell in love again!), running, reading, and paddleboarding. Married with two kids, Kim also has three dogs (two Yorkies and an Aussie).


Natalie P.
Operations Manager

Born in Morganton, North Carolina, Natalie joined our team as a Client Service Representative and kennel assistant in May 2018. Natalie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management with a minor in International Business at UNCC. Natalie has two dogs: a german shepherd named Audi and a border collie mix named Porsche. When she's not at MSVH, you can find Natalie traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. A fun fact about Natalie is that both she AND her boyfriend have a twin!

A self-proclaimed "military brat", Amanda grew up "all over" and earned her associate's Degree at Northern Virginia Community College in Elementary Education. When she's not working, Amanda appreciates hanging out with family, enjoying the lake, reading, and savoring good food! Amanda is married with three kids (ages 19, 15, and 11) and three cats.

Certified Veterinary Assistant | Shift Lead

From Statesville, North Carolina, Cecily joined the Main Street team in October of 2021! After moving between various locations with her husband and high school sweetheart Joseph, due to military life, who is now a combat veteran, they have settled back in her home state of North Carolina. She graduated from North Iredell High School in 2016 and completed her Veterinary Assistant Certification from Animal Behavior College in July of 2020. Cecily is currently earning her veterinary technician degree at Ashworth College. Cecily enjoys watching scary movies, hiking, and walking their two “kids”, Roxy and Sadie, their German Shepherds. She is also blessed with 2 rescue kitties named Gary and Henry. Her special interests include Behavior with a focus on Fear Free. She looks forward to meeting and building relationships with clients and their furry family members!

Brooke Pless Receptionist

Brooke was born and raised in Concord, North Carolina. She grew up having dogs and loves all animals big and small! In 2017, she moved to Cornelius with her husband Ahmed and their new baby, Kamel! She worked as an educator in the childcare field for almost 7 years and decided to trade human babies for fur babies. Brooke joined Main Street Veterinary Hospital in the Spring of 2019. Brooke has a pitty mix named Ellie, a silky terrier named Arnie, and a tabby cat named King Ollie. When she's not working or spending time with her family, you can find Brooke shopping or kayaking.

Mandy joined the Main Street team in July 2020 after being a client and enjoying the care and compassion her pets received. Mandy grew up in Connecticut, where she met and married her husband, Brandyn, who was in the Army. After having five children, the Army relocated them to Texas for the next decade. In 2017, Mandy and her family moved to Davidson, North Carolina, to be closer to her mother. Mandy has three dogs (Sweet Caroline, O'Reilly, and Lady Diana) and two kitties named Oprah Winfrey and Peggy. Mandy's family keeps busy on their own, but they enjoy volunteering in the community, hiking, sports, cooking and visiting local breweries. An active church member, Mandy also teaches at Pure Barre in Birkdale part-time. . Mandy looks forward to getting to know all our clients and their furry companions.

Heather, originally from Glasgow, Scotland, joined the Main Street Team in early 2023. Heather is a Mooresville High School Graduate and is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program! Heather is the proud dog and cat mom to Captain, Bruce Wayne and Poison Ivy!
When she's not working, Heather enjoys reading, playing video games, and puzzles. A fun fact about Heather is she holds dual citizenship in Great Britain and the USA. She has lived in Scotland, England, Canada, California, Texas and now North Carolina.She has an interest in preventative veterinary medicine and zoological medicine.

Born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania, Kristen jokes that she was raised on a playground as that's where she spent most of her days! Kristen began her career working on her RVT at San Juan College but... "Squirrel!"... her attention was brought elsewhere! Despite a change in RVT plans, Kristen has remained in the veterinary field since the spring of 2017 and has main interests in anesthesia and dentistry. Kristen currently serves as a Certified Veterinary Assistant and surgery lead at MSVH. When Kristen isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two rescue cats Felix and Forest. Kristen also spends her weekends hiking on the hunt for Sasquatch, "pumping iron at the gym", crying over fictional characters, and mastering her cooking skills to beat Bobby Flay.

Linda has always had a passion for animals and earned her Registered Technician degree from Gaston College in 1999. She gets her love of nature from her grandfather. Known as the “cat whisperer,” she does everything possible to ensure our feline patients are comfortable. She is an experienced dental and surgical technician who enjoys helping our furry patients in the exam room. Linda has six cats (ages 3 years to 17) and lives in Iron Station with her husband, whom she met while volunteering at the Carolina Raptor Center 30+ years ago. On their days off they enjoy hiking, photography, gardening, and canoeing. She currently volunteers for Meals on Wheels.

Meagan McDonald Veterinary Technician

Meagan was born and raised in Huntersville, NC. She grew up with a love and passion for animals. When she was a child, she would help her father at the dairy farm where he worked. She began her career at a boarding facility, where she worked for four and a half years before joining Main Street in 2019. Meagan graduated from Gaston College Veterinary Technology Program with honors and has an Associate Degree in Applied Science for Veterinary Technology. Meagan is the proud fur mom to four dogs... two Boston terriers named Ivy and Daisy, a rescue American Bully mix named Rosie and a Pitt Mix named Tulip. Meagan enjoys taking her dogs for walks, baking, and spending time with her family in her free time. Her area of interests in the veterinary field include rehabilitation, cytopathology, and client education!

Born in North Carolina, Kamber joined our team as a veterinary technician in November of 2021. She has a passion for animals of all species and has been in the veterinary field for roughly 6 years. She recently graduated with an Associate in Science from Stanly Community College and is currently working to obtain certification as a veterinary technician. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, as well as traveling whenever possible.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Margot earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from VCU and Associate's of Applied Science for CVT at Bel-Rea. Margot enjoys working out, reading, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her four cats.

Kathleen (Sully) was born in Minnesota and attended Veterinary Technician school at a two-year college. When she's not working, Sully enjoys repurposing used items, cooking, and spending time outdoors. Sully is married with three children, and one grandbaby, and has three pets.

Katie, originally from Montgomery, New York, joined the Main Street Team in early 2023. Katie is a graduate of SUNY at Morrisville and is a proud dog and cat mom to Maddie, a 3yr old blue Pit and Theo, a 3yr old black and white domestic short hair. Maddie and Theo both love people and getting extra pets in the morning!

When she's not working, Katie enjoys horseback riding, hiking, painting and spending time with her furry family members.

A fun fact about Katie is she loves surgery and educating clients. She also enjoys exotics, specifically guinea pigs and rabbits!

Sarah is from Sherrils Ford, NC and holds an Associates of Business and Art. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and crafting. Sarah has two huskies, both of which she says are “quiet for huskies”, but adds, “they do bully me for breakfast every morning!”

Dena reigns from Long Island, NY and enjoys spending time with her family and pets. A mom to a three-year old, Dena also has Harley & Shilor, American Bull Dogs, three cats, a pet turtle and a squirrel who returns every year! Dena loves all animals and says “caring for them brings her joy”!

Kennel Assistant

From Huntersville, North Carolina, McKenzie joined the Main Street Family in 2023 as a kennel assistant. She is currently a sophomore at Hough High School and is the proud pet mom to a Hedgehog named Prickles, 3 ducks and 7 chickens! She has an interest in all areas of the veterinary field and a fun fact about her is that she learned how to swim before she could walk!

Lexi F.

Kennel Assistant

Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, Lexi joined the Main Street Family in the Summer of 2023. She is currently a rising senior at Hough High school and will be graduating in the Summer of 2024! She loves spending time outdoors, being with friends and family as well as working on arts and crafts. She is the proud kitty mom to Hunter, Eli and Cleo. A fun fact about Lexi is that she has been riding horses for over 9 years! She enjoys spending time in the barn, caring for the horses. She is interested in becoming a doctor of veterinary medicine and is torn between practicing in a small animal practice or an equine practice.

Tricia joined the Main Street Family during the summer of 2023. She holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from UNC Charlotte and received her Bachelor's from Kean University in New Jersey. She enjoys working out, spending time with her family and reading a good book. She and her husband Tony are proud parents to Emersyn and Rylan as well as pet parents to Daisy, Beau, Delilah, Iggy, & Ziggy who are all kitties as well as 2 Guinea Pigs named Pickles & Peanut and 1 Hedgehog named Toffee.

Kaitlyn joined the Main Street Family during the summer of 2023. Her favorite things to do are hang out with her friends, attend concerts and anything that involves swimming! She is the proud dog mom to Stella, a black and white cocker spaniel mix. She has an interest in surgical procedures and is going to school to obtain her associates!

Born and raised in Huntersville, Kate joined the Main Street Family during the summer of 2023. She has been in the veterinary industry since 2018 and graduated from Penn Foster in April of 2023 with her degree in Veterinary Technology. She has a special interest in dentistry and internal medicine and enjoys reading, traveling and being a foodie! Kate is the proud fur-mom to Scout a Blue Heeler Mix and Dumplin, a Spotted Saddle Horse. She looks forward to establishing relationships with clients and their furry family members!

Veterinary Assistant

Carolina, a former full-time equine veterinarian in Buenos Aires, brought her expertise to the Main Street team in the Fall of 2023 as a veterinary technician. Armed with a Veterinarian (V) degree specializing in Large Animal Medicine from the University of Buenos Aires, she graduated in June 2022 and is currently in the process of transferring her credentials for U.S. clinic practice through ECFVG (Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates) Beyond her passion for animal care, Carolina enjoys hobbies such as embroidering, hiking, yoga, running, cooking, and reading. She shares her life with her husband, Aaron, an emergency medicine resident physician in Charlotte, and takes pride in being the loving fur mom of Rufina, a domestic short-haired kitty.

Adriana G.

Veterinary Assistant

Meet Adriana, who joined the Main Street Veterinary team in late 2023 as a veterinary assistant. She began her journey in the veterinary field at 17, taking a vet assistant course and working as an intern until college. Graduating from Wingate University in 2022, she rejoined the field almost a year later with a renewed commitment to animal care. Adriana brings a wealth of experience, genuine love for animals to our team and has a special interest in dentistry. Beyond her professional role, she enjoys unwinding with music, exploring Target, and relaxing. Her personal connection with her two kitties, Lucas and Kiwi, reflects her deep commitment to animal well-being.

Taylor E.

Client Service Representative | Social Media Coordinator

Meet Taylor, a dedicated member of the Main Street team since early 2024, serving as a Client Service Representative with a Wildlife Biology degree from the University of Vermont. Specializing in exotic animals, especially reptiles and amphibians, Taylor's veterinary experience involves hands-on care for over 100 species at a zoo. Beyond her professional life, Taylor is a nature enthusiast who enjoys hiking, identifying critters, playing disc golf, and indulging in photography. At home, she takes pride in caring for Binx (Holland Lop), Sage (American Shorthair), Sadie (Australian Shepherd), and Scout (Veiled Chameleon). We are thrilled to have Taylor's expertise, love for animals, and vibrant energy contributing to the success of the Main Street team.

Meet Kaitlyn, one of our skilled Veterinary Assistants with six years of experience. Committed to animal care, Kaitlyn is currently pursuing her registered veterinary technician degree at Gaston College, set to graduate in spring 2025. Married to Brett and a proud mom of two daughters, Autumn and Amber, Kaitlyn extends her nurturing spirit to her work.

At home, she cares for Kenny Wallace (Sheltie mix), Tallulah (Cavalier mix), and Cecilia (domestic short hair). Kaitlyn's passion lies in surgery and dental cleanings, where her meticulous care shines through. With a warm smile and dedication to your pets' well-being, Kaitlyn is excited to get to know the Main Street family and their furry family members!

Meet Olivia, one of our dedicated veterinary assistants who brings her passion for animal care to our team since early 2024.

With 5 years of experience in the veterinary industry, Olivia's expertise shines through in her compassionate care and attention to detail. Her particular interests lie in emergency medicine and rehabilitation, where she continually strives to enhance the well-being of our furry friends.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Olivia is a proud fur mom to two beloved companions: Artemis, the majestic German Shorthaired Pointer/Pix Mix, and Apollo, the charming Golden Retriever. As she nurtures her own pets, Olivia also extends her care to foster animals, spreading love and support within the community.

Meet Lauren, one of our enthusiastic Kennel Assistants at Main Street. A rising junior, Lauren plans to major in Zoology after she graduates high school.

In her free time, Lauren loves horseback riding and walking her dog. She is the proud fur mom to a dog named Cami, a cat named Emma, and two horses named Al and Rocco.

Lauren's passion for animals and her dedication to their care make her a valued member of our team.

Meet Katelyn, one of our dedicated veterinary assistants at Main Street. With over six years in the industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for animal care.

In her spare time, Katelyn enjoys riding horses. She is a proud fur mom to a pitbull named Remington, two kitties named Marlin and Olive, a horse named Ruger, and a donkey named Donkey.

Breanna L.

Groomer

Meet Breanna, one of Main Street's groomers! Breanna began her career as a kennel technician, spending about six months in that role and often staying after hours to shadow the vet techs. While she initially aspired to become a vet tech, she discovered her true passion in grooming and has since dedicated herself to mastering the craft.

Breanna lives near her father, grandmother, and younger brother, all of whom she adores. Outside of work, she enjoys fishing with her dad and spending time with her family.

A proud fur mom, Breanna has two orange domestic short-haired cats, Juniper and Nebula, who are twin sisters. She also has a crested gecko named Boo, a gift from her dad on her 16th birthday, and a pink-toed tarantula named Lamia.

Breanna is excited to bring her love for animals and grooming expertise to Main Street. Her dedication to providing top-notch grooming services ensures that every pet leaves looking and feeling their best.

Veterinary Assistant

Meet Ethan, a dedicated veterinary assistant at Main Street with four years of experience in the veterinary industry.

​​​​​​​Ethan has a keen interest in general medicine, behavior and training, and minor triage, bringing a well-rounded skill set to the team.

Outside of work, Ethan loves to cuddle with his two beloved cats, Scratchew McConaughey and Streetie Wonder. His passion for animal care and his commitment to their well-being make him a valuable asset to the Main Street veterinary team.

Kennel Assistant

Meet Ashley, a dedicated kennel assistant at Main Street. Ashley holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design and has aspirations of becoming a vet tech.

Although this is her first job at a veterinary office, she brings five years of kennel experience and four years of positive reinforcement training experience.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys sewing, training dogs, playing video games, and reading. She is also a proud fur mom to two adorable dogs: Ollivander, a Dachshund mix, and Boca, a Beagle mix. Ashley’s passion for animals and her diverse skill set make her a valuable member of the Main Street team.

Meet Madyson, one of our talented groomers at Main Street! With six years of grooming experience under her belt, Madyson brings a wealth of knowledge and a gentle touch to every pet she cares for.

Madyson is a proud fur mom to a delightful pack of five: Duncan, a spunky Yorkie mix; Addy, a regal Standard Poodle; Milli, a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog; Patrick, a playful Dachshund; and Willow, a loving Pyrenees mix. Her love for her pups is evident in her work, as she treats every pet she grooms with the same care and affection she gives to her own.

In her downtime, Madyson enjoys spending quality time with her furry family and loves engaging in family-oriented activities. Whether she's exploring the great outdoors with her dogs or enjoying a cozy night in with loved ones, Madyson cherishes every moment spent with her family.

Emily is a dedicated kennel assistant at Main Street, embarking on her journey in the veterinary industry with a fresh perspective and a passion for animal care. Although new to the field, she has already developed a keen interest in companion animals and equine medicine, aspiring to deepen her knowledge and skills in these areas.

Outside of work, Emily is an avid reader, often immersing herself in a good book. She cherishes time spent with friends and loves embarking on fun adventures, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories.

Veterinary Assistant

Kylee is a dedicated veterinary assistant at Main Street Veterinary, bringing 2.5 years of experience from a small animal general practice.

Growing up on a farm, Kylee developed a natural affinity for animals early on. She is currently pursuing her registered veterinary technician license at Ashworth College, driven by her keen interest in surgery.

​​​​​​​Outside of her professional life, Kylee enjoys playing guitar and traveling to dirt bike races with her boyfriend. She is also the proud fur mom to a spirited Jack Russell named Tucker and two adorable cats, Goose and Scarlett.

Ashley B.

Client Service Representative

Meet Ashley, a dedicated Client Service Representative at Main Street. She has two rescued kittens, Bentley and Gigi, who both bring her immense joy. Ashley also cares for a 15-year-old Shih-Tzu/Maltese mix named Harley.

Passionate about all areas of veterinary medicine, she excels in her role. Outside of work, Ashley loves drawing, working on graphic design projects, hanging out with her family, and spending quality time with her pets. She is also happily engaged to her fiancé, Derek.
