Amy is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant at Main Street who brings an incredible work ethic, compassion, and a wide range of life experience to our team. Originally from Maine, Amy is currently working toward her Veterinary Technician degree as she continues growing her knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
Before entering the veterinary field, Amy served as a communications electrician in the United States Navy, and if that wasn’t impressive enough, she also holds a welding degree! Her passion for learning and hands-on care shines through in everything she does. Amy’s special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, anesthesiology, and oncology.
Outside of the hospital, Amy enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, video games, and hunting. She is proudly married to her husband, Trevin, and together they share a home full of personality with their beloved pets: Samuel, their crazy yellow Lab; Tiny Tina, an energetic Yorkshire Terrier; Crowley, their wolfhound and pointing griffon mix who would do just about anything for a lap to sleep in; Odin, their feline fur baby with the biggest heart who’s always asking for hugs; and Stu, their bearded dragon who definitely has plenty of attitude.
