Veterinary Assistant


Kaylyn is a Veterinary Assistant at Main Street with a deep passion for building relationships with clients and their beloved pets. Born in Yichun, Jiangxi, China, she has called Cornelius home for the past 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science from UNC Greensboro and has just completed her first year of Veterinary Technician School at Gaston College.

Outside of work, Kaylyn enjoys spending her time on hobbies like building Legos, solving Escape Rooms, playing video games, and hitting the court for a game of Pickleball. She is also a proud fur mom to Taco, her rescued Chihuahua, three cats—Momo, Jiro, and Yumi—and a Betta fish named Tamaki.

A fun fact about Kaylyn is that she was adopted from China at just six months old. Her journey in veterinary medicine is fueled by her love for animals and the meaningful connections she forms with both pets and their owners.
